Republic Highlights
Here is a sample of some of my recent, and best, work for the Arizona Republic. There are some pictures from previous posts that I would include in this, but reposting them would be redundant, so check out my older posts too.
Good to hear from you... I think you are absolutely right— learning Spanish is the way to go.
The writer, Manuel, is a fluent Spanish-speaker and originally from Guatemala. I was very lucky. He introduced me to the farm owners, helped translate discussions and ideas, and also served as an extra pair of eyes.
Maybe work at learning a few basic phrases and replies... and start buildling your vocab from there...
Then maybe think about studying abroad to immerse yourself in the language.
