Korea 365: 363 The Cool Aunt

363: This is Yu Jin my yoga teacher. I've been practicing yoga with her since I came to Korea, she doesn't speak a whole lot of English nor I Korean but we have become pretty close none the less. She and her husband have been incredibly welcoming and after many camping trips, birthday parties, and snowboarding weekends, she is more like an aunt than a yoga teacher. I will miss my Korean family a lot! 정 들었어요! August 9, 2013.

Korea 365: 360 Indus Pride

360: Korean beer sucks. For the most part, they do have at least one good microbrew I know of called Craftworks, but other than that most beer in Korea is quite boring. A friend brought this bottle of Indus Pride all the way from India as a present. It was brewed with citrus and coriander, and it was delicious. I'm excited to try different beers during my travels after Korea. August 6, 2013

Korea 365: 358 Skinny-dipping Koreans

358: On our fourth day of hiking, we were excited for a chance to swim after having spent 3 days covered in sweat without a bath. Stumbling through a side trail we came upon this group of old Korean men swimming completely naked so we promptly joined them. It was cool to meet some Koreans who broke the reserved-Korean stereotype. August 4, 2013

Korea 365: 357 Yellow Stinkhorn Mushroom

357: At the beginning of our third day of hiking in Jirisan Andrew and I came across an amazing set of Yellow Stinkhorn Mushrooms. At first glance I was angry that someone had left trash on the mountain, the yellow was so bright, it seemed impossible that it was natural. August 3, 2013
