210/365: Keeping warm with friends around an impromptu fire in an empty lot. Andrew pointed out that I'm not experiencing the moment if I'm documenting it. I argued that I've experienced many more moments worth remembering because I've been a photographer, but in all honesty he's right. You can't fully savor a moment in the same way if you're seeing it through a lens distracted by composition, lighting and timing. Still the life of a photographer is what I want but there must be a balance with shooting and living. This photo is dedicated to living in the moment. March 9, 2013
