264/365 A Raucous Pungmul
264/365: On my way to work this morning I got caught up in a Pungmul. Pungmul is a traditional Korean art form of drumming dancing and singing. As I walked a group of colorfully dressed men and women banging on drums and cymbals came crashing down the street and I was immediately drawn to photograph them as they played their raucous music. As I followed them they led me to the new Gunsan Art Center just down the street from where I lived, they were part of the opening ceremony! I will definitely be visiting the art center sometime soon. May 1, 2013
