Touching History

Veteran Steve Evans, of Hanover, visits the National Civil War Museum, Thursday, while waiting to pick up his wife from the bus station. Under Pennsylvania's new fiscal budget State Assistance Grants for museums, including the civil war museum, will be cut.

When I shot this image Evan's merely brushed his hand across the poster of Lincoln. Because it is frozen in time, a strong connection is built between the two, which I hope builds a stronger connection between you and my photograph.
