7/365: As a child I once began a book that quickly became an arduous read. I put it down before the end of the first chapter. I began reading the same book, Siddhartha, again on my flight here. This morning I finished it. This time it spoke to me in the way only sitting and listening, or this case reading, can. Thank you Herman Hesse for this wonderful novel. August 16, 2012
